How to reach us
The logistic close to the Main train station ensure an excellent position for the arrival and departure to Fiumicino Airport with the non stop train “Leonardo Express”, shuttle buses, and to Ciampino Airport with shuttle busses.
Rome Fiumicino (FCO) airport (also known as Leonardo da Vinci airport).
Just buy a ticket for the bus that leaves sooner directly at the bus stop. Buses take about 45 minutes to get to Rome Termini station from Fiumicino airport in normal traffic conditions, but can take considerably longer if traffic is heavy. For a return trip to the airport, allow lots of extra time, because at busy times, buses fill up quickly and you may have to wait longer for a bus than you anticipated.
At Fiumicino airport, the bus departure points are outside of Terminal 3, to your right as you leave the terminal.
From Roma Termini Station you can reach our guest house in a short walk or by taxi.
(€5 per person online or on the bus ). Between 08:00 and 23:30, this shuttle service operates between FCO (Terminal 3) to Termini Station. The buses are located at Terminal 3, and ticket price is €5.00 per person online or in person. Open return tickets cost €8.00 per person. From Termini Station (on right side as you are facing the station) they travel between 04:30 and 20:30.

Cotral night bus to and from Termini
(€7 on bus, €5 if bought in advance)
For those neadd to travel to or from Fiumicino airport at a very late or very early hours, when the trains and other buses are not running, there is a night bus that connects central Rome to Fiumicino airport for a one-way cost of €5 (or €7 if the ticket is bought on the bus. For a trip to the airport, you can buy the ticket the day before at one of the sales points mentioned on the schedule. At the same time, you should locate the bus stop (it is located near the metro bus stops in Piazza Cinquecento; to the right of the pope JPII statue if you are facing him) so that you don’t have to search for it in the dark with your luggage.)
Termini station closes at midnight, and it’s not advisable to wait around outside the station for long periods after that time.
The Leonardo Express train
The Leonardo Express train is a non-stop service between FCO and Rome Termini (the main station). Trains depart every half hour from 6:23 to 23:23, and the trip takes 32 min. It is the most popular way to transit to central Rome.
From Termini station you can reach our guest house in a short walk or by taxi.
Taxi (€45 per taxi). The fixed fare for a Rome taxi is €48 between FCO and central Rome (within the Aurelian walls) for up to four people and their luggage. Our hotel is inside the Aurelian walls.
Note that the fixed price from the airport to central Rome applies only to taxis licensed by the City of Rome; these taxis have the City Council’s crest (with “SPQR”) painted on the doors. Other taxis, such as those licensed by the Comune of Fiumicino, can charge by their meter. Insist on taking a Roman taxi: they now have the fixed rate to and from the airport (€48) printed on the doors.
If you are traveling as a group of 4, a taxi is cheaper than the Leonardo Express train and avoids having to lug your suitcases to the train and then having to make connections on other transportation once you get to central Rome.
By private car and driver
We can also arrange on demand a transfer from or to the airports of Roma Fiumicino (FCO) and Roma Ciampino. Please contact us in advance.
Rome Ciampino (CIA) airport.
By shuttle bus to Termini:
Several companies of shuttle bus (ATRAL, Terravision, SitShuttle) connect Ciampino airport and Termini station, in the centre of Rome. There is no big difference between the service and the price (some 4-6 €) of each company. If you land in Ciampino, the best option is just going to the square in front of the airport and buying the ticket of the bus which looks ready to leave. Booking the tickets of a specific company on line is not advisable and practically never convenient for the traveller. However, if you arrive at the same time as a few other flights, you may face a wait of up to two hours regardless of whether there is a bus ready to leave or not. The queues can be long and the buses are not particularly regular, so it is up to you whether you choose this method or one of the others listed below.
By shuttle bus to Anagnina:
The company ATRAL connects Ciampino airport with Termini, but also makes some connections with Anagnina via Ciampino station for 1.20 €. Anagnina is the terminus of the metro A line.
Going to Anagnina and taking the metro line A in direction Battistini is convenient for our guests. Go out in Repubblica. You will reach the “Moses Fountain” in a few steps.
by ATAC BUS to Cinecittà metro station.
Alternatively it is possible to take the bus 520 and reach the underground A ( Cinecittà ) in main direction Battistini. Get out at the stop Repubblica. The ticket of 1.50 E is valid for 100 minutes and both the bus and the subway section.
Official taxis connect Ciampino with the centre of Rome (the area inside the Aurelian Walls) for the fixed fare of 30€ (one, two, three or four people including luggage). The fixed fare is exposed on the sides of the taxis. Our Guesthouse is inside the Aurelian Wall.
